My fees reflect the value of working with a licensed clinical psychologist in the San Francisco Bay Area with 15+ years of training, experience and expertise.

  • While I am not currently on any insurance panels, I am happy to provide a superbill (a document that outlines the services a client receives, which insurance companies use for reimbursement) should you choose to utilize your insurance plan. I recognize that therapy can be an investment, so I highly encourage you to call your insurance company to inquire about any benefits for an out-of-network provider, as many insurance companies reimburse up to 50-80% for out-of-network services.

I believe that therapy should be accessible for everyone. So even if I am not the right provider for you, there are many agencies in the Bay Area where you can potentially connect with a provider with a lower fee:

Additionally, here is a comprehensive list of sliding scale, low fee, or free mental health services in the Bay Area, including therapy and medication management.

  • I offer both virtual HIPAA-compliant video sessions and can see clients who reside anywhere in California, as well as in-person sessions in San Francisco. I have a quiet and peaceful office in Lower Pac Heights (see pictures below).

  • I recommend all new clients begin on a weekly basis so that we can start working towards making progress on your goals. Research also shows that therapy is most effective with consistent sessions. From there, we can revisit your goals and adjust session frequency depending on your needs.

  • I require a 48 hour notice of cancellation prior to your scheduled session. For late cancellations or missed appointments, the full session fee will be charged.

  • Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.  This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

  • You can fill out the submission form. Once received, I will contact you within 2 business days to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation to determine if we are a good fit. If you are interested in couples therapy, I ask that both partners are on the consultation call. If we decide it is not a match, I am happy to provide a referral for you.
